Dear Neighbors,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my endorsement of Dan Farley for Illinois State Representative for the 11th District. I am proud to announce that Dan has also received the endorsement of Cook County Commissioner Forrest Claypool and Congressman Mike Quigly.
Dan, a Business Degree graduate of De Paul University in 1995 and a graduate of Kent Law School in 1998, is a lifelong 47th Ward resident who was born and raised in the Lakeview neighborhood. Dan currently resides in the North Center area with his wife and daughter.
Dan was an Assistant State's Attorney where he served both in the Cook County Child Support Division and Juvenile Division. Dan's dual background in business and law have shown him how the fiscal problems of the State of Illinois can be solved by better management, a new tax structure and more jobs.
Currently, Dan serves as President of the Welles Park Advisory Council, Chairman of the Ravenswood Communty Council Tax Advocate Task Force, and Chairman of the 47th Ward Affordable Senior Housing Committee. He is also a member fo the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club, Tax Reform, Northcenter Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Winnemac Park, Roscoe Village Neighbors Association, and the Greater Rockwell Organization.

Dan is committed to property tax relief for all Chicagoans. He understands we need a comprehensive overhaul of how we assess property in Cook County
He also knows that we need to clean up politics in Illinois. Dan believes in progressive legislation to provide more accountability in state government. Dan will work to strengthen the current campaign finance laws which are riddled with loopholes.
